Meghann & Pat Deighan

Best way to experience music is within arms reach. The success of the Trailside Cafe’ & Inn was built on this factor. It is music for musicians. For those seeking the best in good music, whether it be emerging artists such as Dylan Guthro or Meaghan Blanchard, the industry leaders like Matt Mays and Catherine MacLellan, or the legends like Gordie Sampson or Dave Gunning, this is the venue to see them.

Trailside strips away the layers of production and bright lights; it’s just you, the musicians and the warmth of good food and drink.

Our Hillsborough River Gospel Brunch starts the first Sunday in June and runs until August.

Our first Trailside album! Billy MacInnis recorded “Live at the Trailside” last season with his band over two, sold out nights. This will be on sale all season long at the Trailside and at Back Alley Music in Charlottetown. Billy MacInnis will be having a cd release party at the Trailside on May 29th & 30th.

Music PEI Venue of the Year

Thanks to Music PEI, everyone who voted, the other nominees for running kick ass venues, all of the great musicians who’ve graced our stage, our wonderful staff who made our first season so awesome, and to everyone who’s come out and supported us.

The Trailside was in need of rescue and the newlyweds have poured themselves into making it the coolest music venue in Canada east of Casa del Popolo in Montreal and the Dakota Tavern in Toronto. ….
